PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – An 8-year-old boy is listed in critical condition at Children’s Hospital after he was struck by an SUV while riding his bike in Point Breeze.
It happened shortly after 5 p.m. Monday.
The child was riding with his father and a sibling near the intersection of North Lexington and Reynolds Streets.
“There were three of them riding together, a parent and his two children and one of the children was struck,” said Pittsburgh Police Lt. Craig Campbell.

A witness tells KDKA’s Kym Gable, “I was arriving home from work and I saw a car stopped with a boy under it, and I got very scared.”
The vehicle missed the parent and other child, but struck the 8-year-old, who became pinned under the SUV.
